This fountain brings back memories of summertime. When we were kids, Janell, Cami and Maryon came to visit during the summer. We often rode our bikes to the high school to play racketball. One day, on the ride home, feeling like we might die of heat stroke at any moment (it must have been about 120 degrees), we couldn't resist the refreshing sound of the fountain. We stepped right into it! With that, a new game was created. It was called something like tag 'em...what was it called? Anyways, the point was to tag the person standing in the fountain with a racketball. If they were hit, they had to kneel down...another hit, they had to sit and eventually go all the way under. Oh, that's it! It was called dunk 'em! Ha ha!

Ok it might have been hotter than that!! I don't remember the name of the game but I do remember riding our bikes on the "highway" (Lindsay & Warner) to get popsicles that melted in about 2.3 seconds! Those were the days. I would like to bear my gratefulamony for the refreshment that fountain provided!! HAAA I love it! I think of you guys every time I use my fancy citrus peeler! HA HA HA HA!
