lost...

Kennady lost her front tooth! Before she went to bed, she carefully put her tooth in a ziploc bag under her pillow. She reminded both me and BJ several times that her tooth was under her pillow so that we could be sure the Tooth Fairy would come give her money :) Well, what do you know? We both forgot! I know-it's horrible. She ended up scoring two dollars since the Tooth Fairy forgot to come the first night and she was pretty happy with that. I was trying to think back to when I was a child to remember how much money we got and I couldn't remember. I do, however, remember that if we were lucky enough to lose a tooth at a Stapley family reunion, the tooth got placed in a jar with water in it. Somehow, it magically grew money! Lots and lots of money! We always preferred that over a regular tooth fairy visit! Anyways, I cannot believe that Kennady is so grown up....

No no no you cannot lose your teeth! You are too little! Lost teeth means you're growing up! Congratulations on your $2. I would have liked to lose a tooth at a Stapley reunion too! :)

Wow, I'm thinking $2 is quite impressive for a tooth! Jake and I were thinking 25 cents per tooth would be good, but maybe we are a bit behind the times. ;) Anna has yet to lose a tooth, which is a good thing since she is totally terrified at the thought! Many of her friends have lost teeth and she is so scared of it happening to her - she just thinks it will hurt. Ah, the joys of growing up!

Sprouting money...HA! You gotta love the Stapley traditions. I think that's how the Wallentine Tooth Fairy will come too. (easier to remember)

She is absolutely lovely, Min!

Sam has lost 4 teeth now (I think) and it's always pretty exciting. Your tooth fairy is more giving than ours :)
